Want to get involved? Here are a few ways to help our Springers in need:
Donations: Giving to help our rescued Springers! http://www.springerrescue.org/donate/donation.html
Fostering: Loving and caring for a Springer in your home until the day of his/her adoption. It is truly a wonderful thing!!!
Transporting: Driving or flying our Springers from place to place. Sometimes shelter to foster home and sometimes state to state... whatever is needed to get our pups to where they need to go!
Home Evaluations: Visiting a potential adopter in their home. Home visit are needed prior to adoption to help ensure that Springer and their new forever home are a good match!
Vet References: Contacting veterinarians of potential adopters. RMESRA checks with each adopters vet (if they have one) to see how what type of care the potential adopter has given to current or previous pets in the household.
Dog Evaluations: Evaluation of a Springer before he/she can be taken into rescue. RMESRA requires that all Springers be evaluated. A volunteer will go the shelter or home to evaluate the dog.
