Dodger has one thing that most of our Springers don't -- a full tail!

This long and lean Springer has a big heart and lots of love to give.

Dodger is an active fellow who gets along with other dogs, is house trained, crate trained and knows a few commands. He can be shy and timid at times, but has a trusting nature about him and warms up to people quickly. Dodger could be an only dog in his Forever Home, or would be very content living with a playful dog. He loves indoor living and has very good house manners. We also think he could live peacefully with cats.

Dodger will need daily exercise and would really enjoy spending time with you learning all kinds of new things. He has a good start with obedience training, but could use more training with lots of positive reinforcement. Dodger is a very sweet boy and is eager to please, which makes training him a breeze.

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

We have discovered another amazing Springer talent in Chewey. He can stop you from snoring. Yes, it is true! Here is the testimony from his foster mom:

As his foster mom, I have witnessed his technique. It is simple. First, he must sleep with you and share your pillow. Second, he must be as close to you as possible. Third, when the snoring begins, he will simply lay his head across your neck, and like magic the snoring of the human stops. Once the snoring ceases, Chewey will once again lay his head back on your pillow. Each time the snoring begins, he will repeat the above procedure. It may be a long night for Chewey, but I am not the one snoring and I sure slept great!

Chewey is your typical young Springer full of fun, laughter and mischief. He loves all people and gets along well with other dogs. He likes to have a dog playmate. Chewey is crate trained, rides great in the car, likes the water, loves all toys, and knows Sit, Off, and comes when he is called. Chewey is working on walking better on the leash. He is in a hurry to get where you are going, however he is people and food motivated, so he is easy to train.

Chewey is seeking a family that likes adventure and has a dog friend for him to play with. He prefers the girls. He would enjoy human children, too -- ages eight and older.

Oh and yes, you are correct, it is not a camera trick. Chewey is missing his right front leg. No matter. Life is too much fun to waste worrying about such minor things!

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

ESRA#: 2011-202ID
Status: Adopted

Age: 7 years
Gender: Male
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 60 lbs
Variety: Field

This handsome fellow is Spartacus. What a great name for a fabulous Springer! Sparty, as his foster parents call him, is a sweet, gentle guy.

Spartacus is seven years young. He loves to go for hikes so that he can explore the world through his nose. Scaring up a few squirrels and bunnies is a lot of fun, too! As much as he likes to explore the outdoors, however, Sparty does settle down nicely when inside.

Spartacus has good manners, is housetrained, and has the run of the house. Not having had much training work before coming into rescue, Sparty has learned quite a bit. He is one smart fellow! Spartacus does ride well in the car, but when he knows you are going to the park, he squeaks with joy! He lives with other dogs and does best when he can have his own space. We think Spartacus would be happiest as an only dog, but he could live with another dog that is quiet and isn’t too playful.

Sparty is shy and a bit timid when meeting new people. Once he gets to know you, though, Spartacus is the biggest Velcro lap Springer you have ever seen! His family will need to be okay with giving him time to settle in and get used to everyone as well as all the new sounds and smells of his Forever Home. Sparty dreams of a quiet home where he can be spoiled, loved, go for long walks, and have a good spot on the couch.

If you dream of a Springer like the mighty Spartacus (who really does have a soft, sweet soul), please let us know right away!

Weight: 48 lbs

Hi! My name is Spot. It’s a simple name and I’m a simple dog. I really ask for very little -- just a little kibble, nice walks every day and the thing I like best, to hang out with you like best friends.

I am in heaven when you rub my belly and scratch my ears and will adore you for doing so. I am a confident guy and I’m in pretty good shape, if I do say so myself. I do have good manners in the house when meeting people and dogs. I like people much better, though. I am not afraid to tell you when I don’t like something. For instance, if we are taking too long at the vet’s office or the dog wash, I will give you a few good “woo-woo’s” to let you know we need to hurry up. I know, I know -- sometimes I have to wait or be patient and that is okay.

My foster sister is cool. She showed me how to use the doggie door. My foster dad says I am a quick learner. We love to explore the backyard together every day. My foster sister always wants to play some silly game, but I’m far too serious for that kind of foolishness. I do like to play with balls and sticks that my foster parents throw for me. Playing fetch is fun - for a while. Mostly, I like to walk and sniff the great outdoors and then take a good nap. I can sleep anywhere, anytime, and in any position. I do like to go places in the car and don’t mind barking out in glee to say so.

So, if you are looking for a guy like me to share your life with, let my people know and maybe we can meet!

Love,
Spot

Age: 8 months
Gender: Male
Color: Black & White
Weight: 35 lbs

Elvis is the happiest boy! He lives each day to its fullest - and fastest! He is on the go all the time -- a Springer puppy through and through.

Elvis is doing fabulously with his house training and hasn't had an accident in weeks. He comes when we call him and walks pretty well on the leash. Elvis is doing a great job at being a puppy and doing all the goofy things a puppy does.

Elvis is so sweet and loving and there isn't a soul he's met that he doesn't like. His little wiggle butt never stops. Elvis has a lot of energy and really enjoys playing with the other dogs. We think Elvis would do best in a home that has a dog that loves to play as much as he does. He will need a family that has the time and patience to teach him everything that he needs to know to become the wonderful Springer he was meant to be. Your efforts will be rewarded -- you will be able to share your life with this loving and loyal Springer named Elvis.

Important notes about puppies: We do not place puppies as presents or surprises. The entire prospective adopting family needs to meet the puppy. Also, please remember that puppies require a lot of care, attention, and training, and they do chew on things. The decision to get a puppy and raise it to be a healthy, happy, and well-adjusted dog is a serious commitment.

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

ESRA#: 2011-446UT

Age: 5 years
Gender: Female
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 60 lbs
Variety: Bench

Gabby is a fun, funny, and sweet Springer. She is well behaved in the house, doesn’t need a crate and knows how to use a doggie door. She rides well in the car and knows how to heal on the leash. Gabby comes when you call and she does not counter surf. She likes to sleep with you in the bed and enjoys quiet evenings on the sofa being scratched and loved on while you watch your favorite show or read a book.

Gabby does well with dogs her size or bigger, however she wouldn’t mind being an only dog. She just loves people and enjoys spending all her time with them. Gabby also enjoys playing with all types of toys. Her favorite game is tug-of-war and she is very good about giving the toy up when she is told.

Gabby would enjoy a family that has a male fur child for her to play tug-of-war, chase, and laugh with. She is very intelligent and wants a family that will teach her many new things and appreciate what she already knows. If you enjoy a smart Springer that likes to laugh, then Gabby is the girl for you.

enny, or “Edie” as she is affectionately known, is as beautiful as she is smart! What a combination - looks and brains. Edie was brought into a shelter in Kansas as a stray. We cannot believe someone did not miss this wonderful Springer. Edie has good house manners, is house trained, crate trained and gets along with just about everyone she meets. What's not to love about this girl!

Edie is a typical Springer in that she really wants to please her people. She already knows Sit, Stay, Leave It and Walk. Edie would really enjoy having a family that will continue to do obedience work with her - she is always ready to learn what you want to teach her. Edie does love her walks. Being a Springer full of spring, she does pull initially from the excitement of getting out and about. Edie is a healthy girl who will benefit from daily exercise because she likes it and she does have a few pounds to lose. Edie is never late to dinner!

Edie does get along well with her foster sister, but would be just as content as an only dog. Having loving foster parents who dote on her, Edie has learned how wonderful being the center of attention can be and she likes it! Edie loves her pets, rubs and the kind words of praise she receives for being the good girl that she is. In return, Edie will be your devoted and loving companion who will cherish every day with you.

Chloe is a smart girl and knows commands such as Sit and Lie Down. She walks great on the leash and enjoys car rides. She is also housetrained and does not need a crate. Chloe gets along with other dogs, too.

Chloe is learning to fetch, so she has a built-in back yard exercise routine. She has the great energy we expect from a field-bred Springer.

According to Chloe’s foster family, she is a good girl who is very sweet and loving.
Chloe is seeking a family that has an active lifestyle. She will need daily walks, hikes, or runs. Her Forever Family will need to continue her training and stimulate her mind. Chloe was not given what she needed for the past few years and learned how to keep herself busy by chasing shadows. However, with daily activities and learning (which is excellent stimulation for any Springer), she will become less concerned about shadow chasing and look to her people for fun things to do.

If you enjoy teaching dogs new tricks, Chloe is the girl for you.

Age: 7 years
Gender: Male
Color: Black & White

Winston is as handsome and regal as his picture. Without a doubt, he is the most elegant of dogs, and sweet as can be. He loves being next to his foster mom.

Winston is very gentle with everyone, including the other dogs in his foster home. He likes to tussle and plays like a puppy. Winston pays no attention at all to the resident cat. Therefore, his foster mom thinks he would be just fine living with a cat, another dog, or he would be fine as an only fur child, too.

Winston knows Sit and Lie Down with voice and hand signals. He rides well in the car and is very gentle on leash.

Winston is seeking a Forever Home that understands the correct way to live with a regal and proper Springer. He seeks a family that is not so proper that they won’t want to be loved and love back. Daily walks would be great in order to meet the neighbors and show off his perfection.

f you can live up to Winston’s standards, please contact us immediately so Winston can determine your qualifications. Really, Winston just wants a family to love and be loved.

ESRA#: 2010-1330NE
Status: Adopted

Age: 3 years
Gender: Female
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 38 lbs
Variety: Field

From Cassie's foster mom: Hello, world! Meet camera-shy Cassie. Affectionate and sweet, shy and insecure, Cassie is a girl that needs a mommy and daddy who will make her feel safe with love, exercise, and patience.

Cassie's first year and a half are unknown. She was purchased at eighteen months old as a present from a person that claimed to train hunting dogs. He stated that she would not make a hunter but would be a good pet. However, Cassie did not fit well in an active family setting, but rather became nervous and jumpy. She hid under the bed when people visited, and once outside, would pace the yard not want to come in. She never barked or interacted with their older dog. She was NEVER aggressive.

Cassie has been in our care for a month now and is showing us she can be so much more. She loves to run and explore outside. She does not tire easily, so she would be a great running partner. The more exercise she gets, the more comfortable she is. She bounces with the six-month-old puppy at our home and plays tug of war with him. She bounds over the older dogs when she is called to come to us. She adores her food and eats with gusto (great training tool)! Cassie loves to snuggle in bed and will sit on our laps in the evening, but she will retreat to her spot in a quiet part of the living room when she has had enough. She likes going for car rides, is good on the leash, and has been invisible-fence trained. Cassie is working on using the doggy door, though she is still a bit unsure about pushing on it as it will flop back if she does not go through it right away. For now she still waits for the other dogs to go first and will follow them. She does bark, but only at the other dogs when they need a reminder to settle down.

This little girl's biggest concern right now is that she suffers from irritable bowel syndrome. We are in the process of deciding whether it is caused by a food allergy, or if it is just due to her personality. We are leaning toward the personality explanation as the syndrome definitely lessens when Cassie is able to get a good amount of exercise to calm her.

Please consider taking Miss Cassie into your home and heart. Let her joy grow with you as she becomes the dog she was meant to be. Look for more pictures of Cassie in the future. We are determined to catch her off guard so that you can see her fun, sweet side! Contact us to learn more about this darling girl.

ESRA#: 2011-591UT

Age: 4 years
Gender: Female
Color: Black & White
Weight: 48 lbs
Variety: Bench

Gracie has the cutest face and the personality to match. She is always happy and very easy going. Gracie does well with other dogs, has lived with cats and children of all ages.

She is house trained and learned how to use the doggie door after two tries. Gracie rides well in the car and prefers to ride shotgun. She knows Sit, Shake, and walks like a lady on the leash. She does not need to be crated while she is home alone because she has perfect manners. She likes to sleep at your feet while you work on your computer and she sleeps at the foot of the bed on the floor through the night.

Gracie is working on a weight-loss program that includes proper exercise and good nutrition. She is about ten pounds or more overweight. However, her weight troubles are just a result of overfeeding and lack of exercise.

Gracie has the true Springer “wiggle butt” and will greet you with a whole body wiggle upon your return home.

Gracie likes to play ball and knows how to fetch. She comes when she is called and is just an all-around easy-to-be-with young Springer.

Gracie is seeking a Forever Home where she can continue on her weight-loss program. She also wants to be part of the family and included in all your activities. She loves people too much not to be included.

Daisy is a very kindhearted and delicate Springer that loves to give gentle kisses and touches. Daisy was not treated with love the first three years of her life, so she is learning to trust and now realizes how much she loves people.

Daisy is house trained and does well with other dogs. She does not need to be crated because she is a good girl when left alone in the house. She sleeps by the bed at night and sometimes likes to sleep on the bed.

Daisy is learning that car rides are not so scary. She is also learning to walk on the leash. At first it was very scary, but she is starting to enjoy going to new places.

Daisy will need a quiet home that understands her tender heart. A home that is patient and kind and will allow her to continue to build trust for all good people will be ideal for her. Daisy truly is a very special Springer and will melt your heart with her gentle ways.

Buster is a typical Springer that loves to sit or lie near his people. He loves car rides, romps in the yard, and loves to greet you when you get home.

Buster is housetrained and also does well when left uncrated alone in the house. He doesn’t chew things up and is not a counter surfer. We have never heard of a Springer who isn’t a counter surfer, but here is Buster to prove us wrong! What a well-mannered boy he is.

Buster likes to play with other dogs and is fine with cats. Buster would prefer a Forever Home that has another dog for him to play with. Dog friends are great company.

Buster is seeking a home that understands how much he enjoys people and that he likes to be included in all their activities. If you have a home with a dog that needs a friend and if your house seems too empty with just one dog, Buster may be the Springer to make your home complete.

Hi! My name is Deuce, and I'm a fetchaholic. Here is my twelve-step program:
Step #1 - you throw the tennis ball.
Step #2 - you throw the tennis ball.
Step #3 - you throw the tennis ball.
Step #4 - you throw the tennis ball. (Get the idea?)
I love my tennis balls, and I will play fetch with you for as long as you want to play. I am game! I will cheerfully bring them back to your feet or your lap and smile until you throw them again, and again, and again. (I have to apologize ahead of time, because sometimes the balls get a little slimy!) When we are done playing, I will lie at or perhaps on your feet to keep them warm.

My foster mom and dad say that I am the happiest boy. I have a pretty cool smile, if I do say so myself. I have lots to be happy about: I get to go for walks, play fetch, chase birds around the back yard, play fetch again, play with my foster sister, and, best of all, hang out with my people. I guess I get a little noisy when we go for car rides, but I don't know what the big deal is. I am just saying I like to go for rides in the car!

I like just about everybody I meet. I can be a bit shy sometimes, but I'm fine after I take a few minutes to sniff you and make sure everything smells okay. I think it is my job to let my people know when someone is at the front door, but once my people know that the person is there, I let them take over. I guess I know some stuff like Sit, Come, and Down, but honestly, I would love it if you spent time with me teaching me new things. Being with people is the bomb! I can learn just about anything you want to teach me. Yes, I am that smart--I am a Springer, after all!

Love,
Deuce

Mickey acquired his name because as a puppy he had markings on his back that looked like Mickey Mouse ears. Mickey loves attention and is thriving in his foster home with all the love he is getting.

Mickey loves to please and is house trained and doggy door trained. He happily goes into his crate. Mickey loves to ride in the car and is learning that he doesn’t have to ride shotgun all the time.

His coat is beautiful, and is as soft as a baby bunny. Mickey is your typical water-loving Springer -- and he even loves his bath. We think he just loves all the attention he gets when being bathed. Mickey loves to chase the ball and play with other dogs. He is working on his recall.

Like any Springer, Mickey is looking forward to a family that will play with him and give him lots of love. They must understand the importance of ball throwing and regular outings to go swimming. Mickey also feels he should be considered as an esteemed member of the family.

If you can give Mickey what he is seeking, please contact him as soon as possible.

From Addie's foster family: Smile! Whether Addie is giving you a smile or making you smile, a smile is what Addie is all about.

We smile when we talk about her great qualities. She is good on a leash, is fine with other dogs, and rides quietly in a car. Addie is invisible-fence trained and housetrained. She adores being with you and will do her best to follow you everywhere. She will go into her crate on command, but she prefers not to. We smile when she barks at the knock on the door, knowing that the noise she makes is built into her need to take care of us. We smile at her beauty and marvel at the way her auburn coat gleams in the sun and her full tail waves as she greets us.

Addie smiles (she really does!) as she keeps the secret of her beautiful coloring. Perhaps there is Welsh or another heritage in her family tree. Only Addie knows for sure. She smiles when she thinks of the wonderful future ahead of her. She smiles, knowing she has love to share with a new family that will call her their own forever.

Will you be the family to share a smile with Addie? Please contact us to learn more about this sweet girl.

Hi, my name is Marley and I am a special girl. Unlike the "famous" Marley from the book and movie, I had a rough start in life in a puppy mill.

I was a mom before I had a chance to grow up and am just beginning to trust people and enjoy life. I am learning real fast, though, because I have found out how nice it is to snuggle with my foster mom in her chair by the fire. I love being in the house with my foster family and sleeping on the dog bed in the corner with my one of my daughters that came into foster care with me. I am learning how nice pets and belly rubs are and I am learning to ask for attention on my own.

I am easily frightened by new sounds, especially the blender and the vacuum cleaner, and new situations are a challenge for me. I stay at home with my foster brothers and sisters, but get anxious if I am alone without anther dog or my foster parents nearby. I am house trained, sleep in my crate at night, know how to use the dog door and share my toys. I ignore the cats and I have learned to sit, especially for food. I "mostly" come when I am called and am really trying to work on this.

A thorough understanding of the needs of a puppy mill dog is essential before considering adopting Marley. Marley needs a home with another dog and mostly stay-at-home adults. Marley requires a home that will provide her with lots of love and patience so that she can feel safe and secure.

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

Age: 7 years
Gender: Female
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 65 lbs

Toady, as her foster mom loves to call her, is a dear. She loves people and likes to stay close to her human. Toady sleeps on the floor by her foster mom’s bed and gets along fine with other dogs. She may indicate to the other dogs that she is the queen upon their first meeting, but that is short lived and then she is friends with them.

Toady is learning to walk on a leash without pulling. Off leash she stays right with her person. She loves walks and is beginning to have more stamina and lose some weight. Toady came into rescue very overweight, so this is a very positive step for her.

Toady enjoys visiting her foster mom’s friends and behaves very well as a guest in their homes.

Toady comes when she is called. She knows Sit, Stay, and Go Lie Down. What a smart girl she is! She rides very well in the car, learning that she doesn’t always have to ride shot gun and that the back seat has a good view, too.

Toady is a sweet girl and everyone she meets states what a great Springer she truly is.

Toady would like a Forever Family that will introduce her to all their friends, too. She enjoys being a hostess and visiting and making new friends. She is, therefore, seeking a family that will include her in their daily activities. She does enjoy a good brisk walk or a run in the fields. She is appreciating finding her new athletic figure and would like to continue her journey to becoming a fit and trim Springer.

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

ESRA#: 2011-346UT

Age: 9 years
Gender: Female
Color: Black & White
Weight: 40 lbs
Variety: Bench

Matty is the sweetest little English Springer lady we have ever met. She is working hard on getting her girlish figure back, and is on the path to lose about eight pounds.

Matty is so easy to have around. She is house trained, rides great in the car, knows Sit and Shake and just loves all people. She enjoys other dogs, too, and has fun playing with a foster mastiff. It is silly to see such a little lady play with a ten-month-old mastiff that weighs one hundred and twenty pounds.

She likes to have a crate for naptime, however she is so well behaved that she doesn’t need to be kept in a crate. Bedtime is for snuggling with your favorite humans. Belly rubs are to be acquired as often as possible.

Matty is a love bug and is seeking a Forever Home that knows how to treat her like a lady and give her all the love she needs. She will give back ten times the love in return.

If you are ready to fall in love and be loved, Matty is the lady for you.

Mia (right) takes a nap with a buddy.

ESRA#: 2010-1051MO
Status: Adopted

Age: 2 years
Gender: Female
Color: Black & White
Weight: 45 lbs
Variety: Bench

Mia is a beautiful young Springer who has overcome a rough start in life. Her first year and a half was spent in a puppy mill receiving little contact from people. Since coming to into rescue, she has learned the joys of human interaction.

Mia has a playful nature and loves a game of “watch me run.” She will go after a thrown tennis ball but isn’t interested in bringing it back to you. She has a happy Springer tail. Mia has a cautious personality. She gets along with other dogs, but likes to be the boss. She isn’t aggressive, but protects what is important to her with a low growl. When playing with her male housemate, she will use some dominant postures. He ignores her. She was uninterested in cats in her previous foster home. Young children are too unpredictable for Mia, so a home without children would be best for her.

Mia has excellent house manners and is lovely to have in the house. She is house trained, crate trained, knows Sit and Come and stays on all fours when she greets you (that’s when her happy tail really shows up). She walks well on a leash and enjoys walks. When off leash in an open space, she will have a good run and come back on her own to touch base. Digging and chewing aren’t entertainment for Mia. However, on a couple of occasions when she was outside for a while on a warm day, she dug a nice spot in the dirt to lay down in. She is a Springer that likes to get rid of some of the water in the water bowl before taking a drink. She isn’t interested in sprinklers but she might like swimming. She likes to be in the same room with you -- and even better, be in your lap.

Mia is in good health, up to date on all vaccinations, and is microchipped.

During her time in foster care, it has been determined that Mia would be happiest in a relatively quiet adult-only home with another dog for companionship, security and guidance. A family that is home more often than not would be best for Mia. Because she is easily frightened of new people, prospective adopters must to be willing to visit with her several times so her adjustment to her permanent Forever Home will be a positive transition.

Mia will make a great companion for someone wanting a nice balance between sharing quiet time with her, walks and some gentle active play.

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

Duke is a gentle soul. He is a very large Springer, but at this time doesn't weigh what he should. We are working on that and he is eating well.

Duke loves to be around you all the time. He is good with other dogs and cats. He wants to travel and jumps in the car, however, he is pretty nervous when the car starts moving. Duke most likely wasn't taken anywhere fun in the car, but we are going to the park on a regular basis. Hopefully these adventures will start to calm him down during his car rides. He loves to play with tennis balls and toys that squeak. Duke is a very loveable, handsome gentleman and will make someone a wonderful companion.

If you are seeking someone to take you for walks and be your companion during movie night while you relax on the sofa, Duke is the guy for you.

Berkley is the sweetest young Springer we have ever met. He loves, loves, loves people. He is a handsome boy and so mellow for such a young guy. Berkley is learning how much fun it is to be a house Springer and to be loved on all the time. His favorite thing to do is please his people.

Berkley is house and crate trained. He does well with other dogs and enjoys a ride in the car. Berkley is so smart, too. He learned the doggie door in one day. Berkley never jumps up, he doesn’t beg, and he doesn’t even counter surf. We didn’t know a Springer existed that didn’t counter surf!

ESRA#: 2011-330KS

Age: 3 years
Gender: Female
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 35 lbs
Variety: Field

Lizzie is a delightful little Springer. She is outgoing, has a playful soul, is energetic and can cuddle with the best of them! Lizzie really does like nearly everyone she meets.

Lizzie is such a sweetheart. She is house trained; crate trained, rides like a star in the car and gets along very well with the other Springers in the house. Lizzie can play very gently with the puppy that stayed with her for a few days and she also can play all-star wrestling with her foster brother. Lizzie does enjoy a good game of fetch and going for daily walks.

Lizzie is a good-natured girl who is learning all kinds of things about indoor living. She has learned Sit and Wait as well as Off. Lizzie has come a long way with her leash skills, but will need continued guidance in walking nicely on the lead. Because Lizzie loves to chase rabbits and watch the sky for birds, her recall skills still need some improvement. Lizzie will, therefore, need a yard with a six-foot fence to help keep her safe.

Spending time with her people is very important to Lizzie. She does enjoy being brushed, petted, spoken to softly about how beautiful she is and cuddling up with you. Lizzie will lay with her head on your lap while you watch a movie and snuggle up nice and close to you at bedtime.

She has an adventurous spirit and is up for just about anything that you are. Lizzie needs a Forever Home that will cherish her need to be close, a home where she lives primarily indoors and one that accepts her desire to be on the furniture.

If your family sounds just right for Lizzie, please let us know.

Gracie's Page

ESRA#: 2011-393KS
Status: Adopted

Age: 3 years
Gender: Female
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 49 lbs
Variety: Bench

Introducing Gracie! This sweet, lovely girl is devoted, trusting, and yearns for a truly loving Forever Home.

This beautiful Springer has had her share of trouble lately. She came to ESRA with multiple medical issues and her vet expenses have been costly. So that ESRA can raise added funds to get her back to the best of health, Gracie has joined the Special Needs Program. She is responding to treatment and recovering well with much needed medical attention but she still has a way to go before she is completely healthy. Read more about what she has gone through by clicking on the Special Needs icon and help us if you can to get her completely well.

From her foster parents:

The cutest thing about Gracie is that when she's wanting some cuddling, she comes over, flops completely on her back, and puts all four paws in the air! She's absolutely trusting. Gracie has the softest head ever; she loves when you pet her head and cheeks and will angle her head up and close her eyes with delight!

Gracie loves her people, that is for sure. She is a devoted and loving companion who will flourish in a home as an only dog. Gracie has good house manners and is house trained, so she has run of the house when her foster parents are gone. She rides very well in the car, is comfortable being crated, walks like a Springer on a leash who loves to smell stuff and loves having her beauty time. Beauty time includes hair brushing, teeth brushing, ear cleaning and having her nails clipped. Such a lady!

Grace is a smart girl who would do well with continued obedience training. She does know Sit and Come. As she continues to feel better, it looks like Gracie will have a fair amount of energy. She does enjoy her short daily walks now, uses the doggie door to spend some time outdoors in her fenced yard and, of course, being loved on by her people.

Even though Gracie has a bit more recovering to do, we are looking for her perfect Forever Home now. We are hoping she will be ready for adoption by mid- to late-June. Gracie’s perfect home will be one that has someone who would love to take her on daily walks, pamper her with beauty time, has no young children and where she can be the only dog. After all that Gracie has been through, she does deserve to be treated like a queen!

Diesel is a pure delight! This handsome boy is the happy-go-lucky pup that all Springers should be. Diesel came to us after spending a few days on the street. We don't have much history, but we know that whoever lost him surely did lose a bundle of love.

Diesel never met a stranger because everyone is his best friend. He loves all dogs and all people. He's learning house manners and is adjusting very quickly to being part of a family. He's housetrained, uses the doggie door and comes back to check on you when you are hiking or skiing.

We'd like for Diesel to have another dog to play with or a very active human family. Diesel has not been introduced to cats.

Here he is, the one everyone has been waiting for -- Lucky!

Well, that is, everyone that is interested in a Springer that has a fantastic personality, is smart, loves all people and playing with other dogs. Lucky is crate and house trained. He also rides well in the car. He is very proud of how good he can “Sit” and take treats ever so gently.

Lucky is your typical young Springer with an outgoing personality. He has a big smile and lots of kisses to spare.

Lucky would like a family that has children, and another dog or dogs to play with would be great too. He wants to attend school so that he can learn all that a good Springer citizen should know. He is smart and wants to continue to expand his vocabulary to include such words as “Stay,” Heel,” “Fetch,” and learning also all those fun agility skills would be great, too. How about “Tunnel” and “Jump”? Lucky is ready to know all of those fun things. Do you have children involved in 4-H? Benjamin is a wonderful young Springer. He is crate and house trained, rides well in the car and is working on behaving better on the leash all the time. He gets along with other dogs, but most of all he just loves to be with people.

Benjamin has natural bird instincts, but isn’t sure what to do about them. He likes to chase after songbirds when he is in the back yard. Benjamin enjoys running and is very agile. He would love to learn more, whether it is about being an agility Springer, a highly trained obedience Springer, or maybe a therapy Springer. He is ready to know all of it. You see, Benjamin is quite smart. For such a young Springer, Benjamin is well behaved, listens, and tries to do everything you ask of him.

Maggie is fast and very “birdie.” She will make a super-agility Springer. She may make a great hunting Springer if you have the skills to teach her how to use her natural instincts. Maggie is your all-around athlete. She can leap great distances off the deck and if she likes the water (too cold to know yet), she may make a super-fun splash dog.

Maggie gets along with all other dogs. She loves to play with a canine companion. She is always smiling and her wiggle butt is so fast that it is a visual blur.

Maggie is crate and house trained. She rides well in a car. She is also good with cats and children five years of age and up. She is just too fast for toddlers.

Maggie was born on Christmas Eve of 2009 and she is very merry about that.
If you are seeking an athletic partner to add to your family, Maggie is the star for you.

Just look at me go now! I am having so much fun in my foster home! I have learned to run, run, run and I love it. I have learned that toys are so fun and, boy, do I like balls and squeaky toys. I have learned to play with other dogs and the chase is on whenever I am in the yard with my new friends. I especially like to sleep in the house where I am warm and dry. I love my foster parents and stick really close to them, as I don’t want to be alone ever again.

My tail never stops wagging because I know I will have a Forever Home soo

From Jill’s foster family:

Wow! Sweet little Jill is such a joy! She is learning very fast that life is fun and that people are kind and nice. We don’t dwell on her unfortunate past, but only on her bright future.

Jill is crate trained, house trained and has already learned Sit, Give, Come and to walk on a leash. She is very affectionate and likes to be with her people all the time. She is great with children of all ages. Jill is good with dogs as long as there is a slow introduction. She appears to have some fear of dogs. She is becoming less fearful every day and her confidence is growing by leaps and bounds. Please give Jill the chance to have the Forever Family that she so deserves.

Oh…that face! Koda is a handsome fellow, isn’t he!

Koda is a big hunk of Springer love. Being the sweet boy that he is, he loves to be around his people. He has good house manners, is housetrained and crate trained. He walks well on a leash, is playful from time to time and has been known to enjoy a good chew toy. Koda loves nap time and just hanging out with you while you read a book, work on the computer or watch a movie.

Koda is a shy and timid Springer. He can be easily frightened of new people and situations. Koda will need a home that is quiet, a home where his people are home most of the time, and a family that has the patience and commitment to help Koda adjust to his new life and continue to work on his self confidence.

Because of Koda’s shyness and uncertainty of new people and situations, we will need you to come and visit Koda. Interested, approved applicants should plan on visiting with Koda more than once to get a sense of him and his personality. He is often too timid to interact with new people during the first visit. Koda just needs time to figure everything out. Once he knows that he can trust you and that he is safe -- all is well with the world!

Koda is a wonderful, devoted and loving Springer. If you are looking for a constant companion who loves you more than anything and you have the time and compassion to love Koda and give him what he needs to be the happiest Springer, please let us know.

Casey has a very gently soul that makes him very unique. When he came into rescue, he needed to recover from kennel cough, have neuter surgery and he was very underweight. Although it has taken three weeks for Casey to regain his spirits and feel better, his gentle nature has always been there.

Casey is friendly, outgoing, and playful. He likes other dogs, men, women and children. Casey likes to play with other playful dogs, and is a well-balanced fellow. He isn’t shy or submissive and he is not a dominant dog. We think Casey spent most of his life prior to coming into rescue as an outside dog, but he has adapted quite well to indoor living. If Casey is initially an only dog and a new dog is introduced into the family, Casey will happily share his space.

Casey is a great dog who will make the perfect family companion. He likes to play with children or anyone that wants to play a game of chase or fetch. We see Casey just loving to be part of whatever activities his family enjoys. After a round of good exercise that expends some of his energy, he loves to be near you in the evening during family quiet time. Although he isn’t a Velcro dog, he does like to get some time in being really close to you – in other words, he wants to lean against you. He doesn’t entirely get in your lap, but he will get as much of himself in your lap as he can and still have his feet on the floor.

We think Casey has spent most of his life outside as a free spirit, so he has needed to learn a few things about his new life. He is housetrained and doing well with the command Sit. The command Come is getting better, too, but his attention on a bird can be his priority. He is crate trained, riding quietly in the car in a crate. Casey takes food gently from your hand, waits to eat and doesn’t guard his food. He is micro chipped and has no health problems. Casey will need continued leash training with his new Forever Family.

If you don’t visit Casey, you’ll be missing out on a special guy.

"Woo woo!"

ESRA#: 2011-204ID
Status: Adopted

Age: 8 years
Gender: Male
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 73 lbs
Variety: Bench

Here’s Beau! This big boy is as happy and outgoing a Springer that you will ever have the joy of meeting.

Beau has never met a stranger because he truly does like everyone he meets. In typical Springer fashion, he is friendly, devoted to his family and enjoys a good spot on your couch. Beau is house trained, has wonderful house manners, walks well on the leash using a gentle leader, rides great in the car, loves his toys and does pretty well at the groomers. He gets along just fine with his foster brother. We are not sure how he would do with cats, though. Beau enjoys a good game of fetch and has a lot of fun carrying around his squeaky, furry toys.

Beau is a quick learner and has already has a good grasp of Sit and Stay. Beau takes his squirrel-watching duties very seriously and would be a good gardening partner. Having a playful personality, Beau “woo-woo’s” when he gets excited, whether it is time to go for a walk, play time or meal time. He gets so excited that he spins in a circle woo-wooing all the while. What a guy!

Beau’s ideal weight is close to sixty pounds. He is on a low-calorie diet now and will need to continue with that until he loses more weight. Daily exercise is also very important for this big hunk of Springer love. Beau currently has a lot of energy and we expect that he will become more playful and energetic as he loses more weight.

If Beau sounds like the perfect Springer for your family, please let us know. How could you not enjoy meeting him in person!

JAKE
Arnold, NE

dogpic

dogpic

ESRA#: 2011-300NE
Status: Adopted

Age: 4 months
Gender: Male
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 28 lbs
Variety: Field

From Jake's foster mom: This is one nice pup! Jake was born on December 30, 2010, and he sports a proud field heritage. He is a typical fun-loving and smart little Springer boy. He is always on the lookout for a new game to enjoy with you. He walks well on the leash, rides well in the car, and is ninety-nine-percent housetrained. He is invisible-fence trained and knows how to use a doggy door. Jake is current on all vaccinations.

Jake likes to explore, as any curious pup does, so a fenced yard will be a requirement for him. He still is in the puppy chewing mode, so providing him with his own chew toys will be a must. Jake is good with other dogs and can play for hours with the other young dogs in our care. He is also learning his manners with the senior pack members here who do not always appreciate his enthusiasm.

Jake loves people of all ages. He thinks it is heavenly when school-aged children visit, and he will play and run with him. Jake knows the commands Sit and Come. He is just the right age to start training with his new family.

Important notes about puppies:
Because he is so young, Jake will be placed on a neuter contract. This means that in addition to the regular adoption fee, a monetary deposit will be required, and it will be refundable when proof of neutering is supplied to ESRA.

We do not place puppies as presents or surprises. The entire prospective adopting family needs to meet the puppy. Also, please remember that puppies require a lot of care, attention, and training. The decision to get a puppy and raise it to be a healthy, happy, and well-adjusted dog is a serious commitment.

Due to his young age, we also ask that Jake's new family come here to meet and adopt him.

Boone may be a little Springer, but he has a big heart! Boone is a sweet boy who really does get along with everyone he meets. Boone will greet you with his wonderful, goofy smile every time!

Boone has a playful spirit and is the happiest dog you will ever meet. He loves to run around with a toy in his mouth. He shares his toys with his foster brothers and sister and he will even share with his foster mom -- what a guy! Boone truly is a lovebug.

Boone has great house manners and is house trained. We have trouble believing that Boone is really seven years old; the vet surmised that he was no more than seven, as he has the energy of a dog half his age. Boone is up for nearly any adventure that you are. If you want to go for a walk, ride in the car, work in the garden or just hang out at home – Boone is the dog for you. He is a perfect, little, compact Springer!

Boone could easily live with another dog that is happy to have him around. Even though he is up for any adventure, Boone settles down very nicely and is just as happy to be your shadow around the house.

If Boone sounds like the perfect addition to your family, please let us know. You will really enjoy meeting this little guy in person!

Sapphire is a cute and frisky one-year-old girl. She has very good manners and usually listens when told “No!” Of course she is a puppy, so listening to NO is really hard sometimes.

Sapphire is very smart and learned the doggy door perfectly her first day in her foster home. She is learning to walk on a leash and loves to ride in the car. Sapphire learns very quickly, and she knows how to Sit. She absolutely loves to chase the ball. Sapphire is still in her puppy chew stage and adores chewing on toys.

Diesel is the happiest, tail-wagging, wiggle-butt Springer ever!

He has been an outside, garage dog his whole life, but he loves the good life in his foster home. He is crate trained, house trained and does well on a leash too. He loves to go on adventures to the park and on long walks, enjoying the company of other dogs. He absolutely adores children of all ages and, despite his large size, he is ever so gentle with them.

Diesel is very calm in the house and outside. He has never had too much human attention so he loves to lie his head on a lap and have his belly rubbed. He is very submissive due his past, so he needs a gentle hand and lots of love. Diesel has also had some training and minds very well.

Please consider making this great Springer a part of your family and giving him a Forever Home!

We are very energetic, active boys that need an experienced Springer home with puppy experience. We learn VERY fast and have already figured out the doggie door. We also already know how to Sit.

If you are interested in meeting me, contact my coordinator to find out how you can visit me in my foster home.

Jenny is such a sweetheart! Jenny loves to snuggle up close to you in true Velcro Springer fashion. This little love bug has yet to meet a soul, human or furry, she does not like.

Jenny is a smart Springer and learns very quickly. She has good house manners, knows the ins and outs of the doggie door, is crate trained and loves to go for rides in the car. Jenny’s life before coming into rescue was not the kindest, so you will need a compassionate voice and gentle hand when teaching her new things. Jenny enjoys learning and, often after only a couple of repetitions, she has is figured out. She would really excel in obedience class as she really wants to please you -- and she is one smart cookie! Jenny loves toys, has fun with a good game of fetch and is up for just about anything you are.

Jenny may be tiny, but she is a little dynamo! She would be a wonderful jogging and hiking partner. Jenny does like to be active but can also settle down nicely when inside. She just needs a good chew toy and a soft bed to lie on and she is all set. Jenny is a wonderful dog looking for her perfect Forever Family. If Jenny sounds perfect to you, please let us know. It is hard to capture how cute Jenny is in pictures -- you just have to meet her in person!

LINUS

ESRA#: 2011-55NE
Status: Adopted

Age: 6 months
Gender: Male
Color: Tricolor
Weight: 22 lbs
Variety: Bench

Oh, Linus--what a face! Meet six months of fun wrapped in a tricolor package: bouncy, tumbling puppy fun. He'll be going ninety miles an hour one minute and be zonked out the next--that's puppy fun! Puppy breath, puppy squishy-soft skin, puppy kisses. Who can resist?

Linus is smart and figures things out quickly. He knows he has charm, and he uses it to snuggle up next to you. He uses a doggy door and is ninety-nine-percent housetrained unless you forget to let him out. He "talks big" when he is separated from you, but that is only for your benefit. He is quiet when he is left alone. Linus still plays a bit rough, nipping on your pant leg when he is excited, but he stops when he's told to stop, at least when you really mean it. He is not mouthy, though. Linus is an open slate, ready for your guidance in the world of obedience.

Judging from his size now, Linus should grow to be around forty-five pounds. His mother, Lucy, is a forty-two-pound Springer and his father weighs forty-seven pounds. His parents were pets and were used as hunting companions.

Linus is neutered and ready for his Forever Home. We ask that his adopting family come here to meet him. His new home will be required to have a fenced yard. Little Linus deserves to be protected. To learn more about this gorgeous boy, please contact his foster family.

Important notes about puppies:

We do not place puppies as presents or surprises. The entire prospective adopting family needs to meet the puppy. Also, please remember that puppies require a lot of care, attention, and training, and they do chew on things. The decision to get a puppy and raise it to be a healthy, happy, and well-adjusted dog is a serious commitment.

Chip has had a rough start in life. First he was abandoned at the shelter. He was then picked up by a family who he thought was going to take care of him, but they banished him to life in a small kennel. Chip thought he was getting out on good behavior when a family that found him on a local classifieds ad came to rescue him from eternal kennel life; unfortunately, though, he was returned to it for being “too active.”

Poor Chip. He does not lie around feeling sorry for himself, though. You would not know that he was neglected, simply because he is happy and a go-lucky kind of guy.

Chip is learning his manners and house rules. He is rather tall for a Springer, but a Springer none the less.

Chip’s weekend plans included getting a haircut and going for a hike to see how he does off leash. As you can see from the pictures, Chip looks very handsome after his haircut.

Please watch for updates on “Chip the Survivor,” as he is one very lucky boy!!

Charlie is a fun, lovable and sweet Springer. He knows Sit, rides in the car well, and is crate and house trained. He loves to play with his favorite foster friend, Lucky. Charlie always comes when he is called and when he comes running, he has a big smile on his face.

Charlie gives great kisses and loves to cuddle on the sofa while you read a book or watch television. For such a young Springer, he is truly well behaved, easy to get along with, and really mellow.

Charlie will make a wonderful family companion and is looking forward to a Forever Family that will continue his education. He is smart and wants to please, so he is ready to learn many new things.

Darby: the Springer that is all smiles! When you offer him a treat, he sits politely and smiles while he waits to take it gently from your hand. Good boy! Darby is a real snuggle bunny kind of boy. He is a smart fellow with some training and knows Sit, No, Down, and is perfect in the car. He rides in the far back of the wagon and doesn't try to jump into the front. He also walks well on the leash.

Darby’s coat is mostly white with a few big brown spots; his eyes are those droopy, sad Springer eyes that just make you melt. His fur is as soft as a bunny.

If you are seeking a snuggle-bunny type of Springer, Darby is seeking you.

ESRA#: 2010-629UT
Status: Adopted

Age: 9 years
Gender: Male
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 45 lbs
Variety: Bench

Oly has lived outside for most of his life. However, he is housetrained and is truly enjoying being a house dog. He is a quiet dog who gets along great with the other animals in the house as well as with guest dogs and people. He loves to have his belly rubbed. Oly is a morning dog, and he gets the day started just right with a great morning greeting. Each morning he is all wiggles and is very verbal about being touched and petted.

Oly is almost blind and has trouble going down the stairs, but he can go up the stairs with no problem. Oly is new to the foster program, so please watch for updates as we learn more about him and his blindness. At this point, we know that it does not affect his ability to love and be loved. He has also adapted well to being in his foster home.

UPDATE 6/28/2010: Oly is in good health (he has great teeth!) except for issues with his right eye. His left eye has similar problems, but the right seems the worst. He has no signs of glaucoma. Oly will need to see a vet eye specialist.

Oly is the sweetest of dogs. He has taught himself to use the doggy door, but even before he did that he never had an accident in the house.

UPDATE 7/7/2010: It was previously reported that Oly had a condition called Lens Luxation. However, his foster home took him to a dog eye specialist and we have determined the real cause of Oly's eye troubles. Oly has a detached retina in his right eye that has caused complete blindness in that eye. He has a cataract in his left eye and still has vision in the left eye. He does not have glaucoma; however, he will need regular check ups throughout his life for glaucoma. Oly is not in pain with his current condition and he is such a great dog -- and super handsome too!

Age: 4 months
Gender: Male

Weight: 20 lbs
Variety: Bench

Hi, my name is Pop and I came into rescue with my brothers, Snap and Crackle. We got our names because we are more fun than a bowl of Rice Krispies!

We are very energetic, active boys that need an experienced Springer home with puppy experience. We learn VERY fast and have already figured out the doggie door. We also already know how to Sit.

If you are interested in meeting me, contact my coordinator to find out how you can visit me in my foster home.

Important notes about puppies: Because he is so young, Pop will be placed on a spay/neuter contract. This means that in addition to the regular adoption fee, a monetary deposit will be required, and it will be refundable when proof of spay/neuter is supplied to ESRA.

We do not place puppies as presents or surprises. The entire prospective adopting family needs to meet the puppy. Also, please remember that puppies require a lot of care, attention, and training, and they do chew on things. Max is a gentle Springer that is seeking a family to love. He is a good boy that doesn’t even need to be kept in a crate. He is house trained and rides well in the car. Max knows Sit and is always seeking a great ear scratching.

Max has asked that you look past the poorly done trim job on his ears. They were so badly matted that they were shaved like shorn sheep. He knows the hair will grow back, but in the meantime Max thinks he looks a little funny. It does feel better not to have such terrible tangles.

Max enjoys playing with other dogs and sleeping on the sofa next to you after a fun-filled day. His perfect Forever Family will be gentle, loving, fun, and enjoy some leisurely walks through the neighborhood.

Max is a champ at making very sad Springer eyes when he is seeking some loving. He will remind you of Puss in the Shrek movies. Max can turn those big eyes on and melt your heart.

This cute boy is Rudy -- he has a permanent smile on his face and is ready to put one on yours! Since he is older, he needs some basic training, but he is willing to please -- just tell him what you want. Rudy is doing great with other dogs and likes to lie outside with all his toys gathered around him.

Rudy would do best in a home with another playful dog and a fenced yard. He is very good off leash and is one of the few dogs that we can take to the park and he does not get dirty or roll in the mud. He has lived with cats and is just fine. Rudy is ready to learn all that you can teach him and will be a fun and happy dog to have in your home.

Rudy has had double hip surgery and is gaining strength daily. His back end is weak and on the small side, but with lots of walks and exercise he is on the road to recovery and ready for his Forever Home.

Cookie is the sweetest girl ever. She is gentle and kind. Cookie likes children and other dogs. However, she thinks cats are for chasing and Cookie would rather not share the details of what she thinks of cats. Needless to say, Cookie cannot live with cats.

Cookie is house and crate trained. However, she is so well behaved that we never keep her in the crate. She loves to go for car rides. Cookie enjoys the great outdoors, but cuddling on the sofa is one of her favorite activities.

Cookie has the softest hair coat with curly cues everywhere. She is so soft -- you just have to spend time petting and grooming that beautiful hair coat.

Beautiful and sweet Shay was found crossing a busy highway in icy, snowy weather. She had no collar or tags and no one was looking for her. She was matted, dirty and suffering from ear infections. The kind couple who found her named her Shay, gave her a much-needed full body shave, and took care of her for several weeks while they searched for her owner. ESRA stepped in when no one claimed her.

Shay is sweet, sweet, sweet! She is very calm, housetrained, great in the car and on the leash and does not need to be crated. She sleeps all night by the side of the bed and patiently waits for her foster family when they leave her alone in the house. She loves to be with her people.

She is doing well with the two resident Springers. Shay has been great at meeting strangers, men and women alike, and is very good with children of all ages. She especially likes her stuffed toys and tennis ball.

Shay is currently on a limited ingredient dog food for allergies and is responding very well. She will need follow-up care in her new Forever Home. If you want a great addition to your family, then Shay is the girl for you!

Look at him go! Mikey just loves to run around and play. Not much is better than playing a game of “I’ve got the stick and you can’t have it” with your foster sister.

Mikey is a smart, young Springer who is house trained, has good manners and does great with people and other dogs. He likes to play, go for walks and have his people home more than they are gone. Being home all alone is not one of his favorite things, so Mikey does need another playful, confident dog in his Forever Home. He knows how to use the doggie door and is doing wonderfully while being home alone with his foster sisters for a few hours at a time. Mikey does not like to be crated, but he will go in. His foster parents are doing a fantastic job of helping Mikey to overcome his fear of being crated.

Still being somewhat of a puppy, Mikey still has a few things to learn. Granted, he already has a good understanding of obedience training, but continued positive reinforcement and lots of pets and belly rubs are just what Mikey needs to be a happy and successful Springer. He is such a good boy and enjoys hearing so from you when he does what you are asking of him.

Mikey is a sweet boy who will need lots of patience, consistency and daily exercise to help him become the self confident and happy adult Springer that he is meant to be. If you and your playful dog think Mikey sounds perfect for your family, please let us know.

Hello. I'm Miss Daisy. Although I like to go for drives, I prefer to curl up and take a nap. I also like to hang out with my foster mom and her furry family. I'm eight years old, but I still have a spring in my step and lots of love to give to my Forever Family.

I'm very polite and take treats gently from your hand, ask to come up on the sofa, and lie down out of the way when asked. I also love to run around outside where I almost caught a silly bird that landed in the yard. My foster mom said I was very fast and just snuck up on him. I planned it that way, but I wouldn't have hurt it.

My favorite thing is to have my belly rubbed and just be near people. When mom goes downstairs to work on the computer, we all lie around her to keep her company. I don't know what's so interesting about the computer thing, so I put my head on her lap just so she knows I'm there for her. When it's time for bed, I curl up on the soft doggie bed and go to sleep. I'm ready for morning, though, with happy kisses and I lead the charge down the hall to breakfast.

I'd like to be a special part of a family. I'm good with children and would love to play with them. Are you a family who needs a special girl in your life? If so, come meet me and see if you can drive Miss Daisy home to her Forever Family.

Give me a call,
Daisy
